Announcing Our New Board Members for 2024!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of the Snow City Arts Board of Directors! Each of these incredible individuals brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission of educating and inspiring youth in hospitals through the arts. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will undoubtedly help us further our mission and reach new heights in 2024.

 

Neeharika Vinod
Neeharika Vinod is a seasoned strategist with over 15 years of experience in helping healthcare companies grow efficiently. Currently at Omnicell, she leads growth strategy, M&A, and product operations. Neeharika excels in managing large teams and aligning cross-functional objectives to deliver critical projects successfully. When she’s not driving change in healthcare, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and exploring new hiking trails.

 

 

 

Dawn Thomas
Dawn Thomas is an operations leader with nearly 20 years of experience across various industries, most recently in healthcare and education. As President of Specialized Education Services, Inc. at FullBloom, she oversees over 100 programs nationwide that address students’ special academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning needs. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys exploring Chicago with her husband Marcus and their two young daughters and running along the lake.

 

 

 

Monica Mazzoli
Monica Mazzoli is a management consultant with a decade-long track record of serving healthcare clients. Her expertise in strategic growth, financial transformation, and performance improvement is invaluable to our board. A former Fulbright Scholar in the humanities, Monica believes in the power of art as a vital outlet for self-expression and cultural understanding. She is excited to bring her unique perspective to Snow City Arts and advance our mission.

 

 

 

 

Julia deBettencourt
Julia deBettencourt (she/her) is the Chief of Staff to the Policy and Evaluation practice at Bellwether, a national non-profit focused on equity in education. She has extensive experience in arts education, having served as the executive director of arts education for Chicago Public Schools and as the program director for Snow City Arts. Julia is passionate about inclusive projects that foster creative thinking and civic imagination. She holds advanced degrees from Northwestern University, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.

 

 

 

 

Stephanie Pirishis
Stephanie Pirishis (she/her) is a consultant and the founder of Lysi Consulting, specializing in transformation and operational excellence in the hospitality industry. She has led significant growth and innovation initiatives at Great Wolf Resorts and has a strong background in strategic planning from her time at Boston Consulting Group. Stephanie’s dedication to community and the arts is reflected in her past board service. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College.

 

 

 

Michael Gonzalez
Peter Michael Gonzalez, a distinguished judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County, brings a wealth of legal expertise to our board. A University of Michigan graduate, Peter has served as a Public Defender and in private practice before his judicial appointment by the Illinois Supreme Court. He has a strong commitment to justice and community service, making him a valuable addition to our team.

We are incredibly excited to work with Neeharika, Dawn, Monica, Julia, Stephanie, and Michael to continue educating and inspiring young people in hospitals through the arts. Their unique skills and experiences will help us make a profound impact in 2024 and beyond.
