Snow City Arts is thrilled to welcome two dynamic new individuals to our Board of Directors!
Carlton Gibbs
Carlton is a packaging engineer in the consumer goods space, where he works to transform consumer insights and problems into business solutions. Education has long been an important part of his family history, which contributed to his interest in Snow City Arts and its impact on students through art and education. Carlton serves on the development committee and is excited to see how Snow City Arts will continue to leverage technology to serve a larger population of students. A fun fact about Carlton is that he is the youngest of five kids, and he grew up on a farm before attending Clemson University.
Johanna Mishra
Johanna is the senior director of Transplant Center & Destination Health services at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and she’s been in pediatric healthcare her whole career. Working at Lurie’s, Johanna has been exposed to SCA through students’ artwork and has seen the impact workshops can have on them. Coming from a family of artists, Johanna holds dear to her heart both pediatric healthcare and art, making her a special match with SCA! Johanna is excited to continue getting to know the board and staff and contribute to fulfilling Snow City Art’s mission. She is especially looking forward to working with the expansion and programming committees during her board tenure. In her free time, Johanna has started to play paddle tennis, which she is really enjoying!
