Young people and children who are hospitalized at Cook County Health can explore their inner artists through Snow City Arts’ workshops. Our creative teaching artists work in many disciplines, including creative writing, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts, and tailor their workshops to each student’s needs and artistic journey. 

We’ve collaborated with the team at Cook County Health for more than 15 years, relaunching and reimaging our offerings in 2022. All our workshops are designed to align with the best practices and standards in arts education, and students who participate may be eligible for school credit. There is no cost for participating in our workshops.

Every Friday, young people in the hospital at Cook County Health will have the opportunity to create art with these Snow City Arts teaching artists:

Our Virtual Learning program allows you to work with our teaching artists online!  Whether you want to finish a project you started in-person, or you’d prefer to make art with us remotely, we can accommodate your needs.
