Steppenwolf and Lagunitas Events Postponed

To practice social distancing and ensure the safety of our larger community, SCA and its community partners have come to the difficult decision of postponing our two upcoming public events: our student showcase at Steppenwolf 1700 on April 3 and 4, and our Auxiliary Board Fundraiser at Lagunitas Brewery on April 7. We will be coordinating with our event partners to offer the same events later, and hope by postponing at this time, we will do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We will continue to send updates as things evolve and our team determines the best course of action. 

Though we all are focused on the day-to-day updates of friends, family, and the news, SCA must keep their students at the forefront of our thoughts. Our students are a vulnerable population regardless of a viral outbreak, and increasingly isolated as hospital protocols evolve. We must continue to support them, and we ask that you do the same. For those of you who have already purchased tickets or RSVP’ed to our events, please consider converting those purchases and or commitments to a donation. Your support will help sustain the work of our Teaching Artists during this time of off-site project development and ensure a robust return to onsite work as soon as possible.
